Step 3: Fertilize everything.

Alternatively, you can purchase one of those hose attachments that dilute the fertilizer as you spray and give everything a good spray.
Step 4: Add a pop of color.
Now that things are neat and tidy again, head to the garden store and buy yourself a few potted flowers. Place them in conspicuous areas like next to your door or in the corner of the patio. The pop of color they bring will draw attention away from any bush or corner of your lawn that's still not perfect.
